LEAF CSA
community funding

Our grassroots community funding. Each location has a dedicated page on our website to coordinate donations and fundraising efforts.

The LEAF greenhouse is a benefit to the school, the students, the families in the neighborhood, and makes a sizable contribution towards water conservation. It provides healthy, local food and job skills development for the students involved and even saves a trip to the grocery store for fresh vegetables. It provides CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) memberships, one box of 12 veggies a week for a month in a renewable membership. And the LEAF also produces 6000 pounds of native, edible freshwater fish annually.

500 months of subscriptions could build a LEAF in your neighborhood school
That is equivalent to: 84 families signing up for 6 months

SchoolGrown is a 501(c)3 organization

Donations can be tax deductible. Once your donation is received, a thank you letter recognizing your donation will be sent to you by email or post mail. For information regarding tax deductions, please consult your CPA or accountant. Corporate and community sponsors have the opportunity to provide grant money to fund the construction of a LEAF greenhouse in their community. Donor corporations will be recognized in crowd funding material, website and social media and have their logo represented in the greenhouse.
